Quick grow plug question

Hi guys,

First time ever using a grow plug. I have my seed inside one. The seed is clearly visible from the hole with nothing covering the grow plug on the top. Is this okay or should I cover it? Rapid rooter.

This is in a hydro system (first time as well) if it makes a difference.

Hi how are you? I usually tear a little piece of the plug from the bottom to fill the hole loosely, keep it moist but not wet. Peace, be safe MD.

i do it like that. keep it visible until you are sure the tap root is pointing down.

once it sprouts above the surface then i tear off a little piece and place it in the hole to keep the seedling steady

Thanks for the replies. Feels good to have my system set up. Now I just have to wait for them to sprout
