i always put mine in a cup of water. i have some seeds that i bought, just for ornamental plant, its a plant that looks liek weed, it flowers the same as weed, but its bright purple hairs. today is the 2nd day they were in the cup and they sprouted. ive had many a seed that sprouted in 24 hours doing this. people say you can kill them this way, but ive never killed a seed, and i grow everything from weed to tomatoes and cucombers and flowers

there are many ways to germ seeds but the way I do it is by using paper towels folded 3 times, very moist then lay the seeds in and fold it once again. Put it in a dark place on top of a paper plate or plastic and then on top of some kind of electronic like a stereo or computer. It needs to be warm and dark. Check it after a few days.

Yes... good answer. The best answer, IMO. I've germed three sets of MJ seeds this way... still batting 100%. And simple like it should be.

Works great for everything else, too, like Ventura says...

i have never not had a seed germinate using the paper towel method, pretty much always within 24-48 hrs

Both methods seem to work fine... but why fuck around with paper-towel origami when you can just drop 'em in water? I've never waited more than 12 hrs, BTW..

Not arguin' bro... I just really like to keep simple what can be kept simple. There will be plenty of real complications to deal with later.
