Quick dried weed lose potency

I broke a branch at 8 weeks flower so I trimmed it and hanged it up to dry in the tent it was dry after 2 days.i smoked some earlier and it was really plant tasting and had a small high will drying that quick effect the potency or is that what it's going to be like ?? When it's dried correctly

Drying is huge. Read about it. After only 2 days I'm surprised you got anything aside from a collapsed lung and puking.

I know about drying just asking does a fast dry cause a loss in potency
