i disagree you should start with a very very weak solution.this way when you feed full strength it wont shock your babies.theres something on the market called FORMULEX.it is especially designed for seedlings and young plants.good luck

Cheers people for advice..So im gonna repot a couple of ma clones into soil now as Known said, im using biobizz All mix and it already has perlite in with it so i shouldnt need to mix any more with that should i?....just 1 more thing...

Having never used soil as im a hydro man....is it a good idea to get the soil in the pot and is it a good wetting the it before i put the clones in?

You don't need to add any more perlite if all-mix already has it in and definitely don't add any more fertiliser at this stage, all-mix has all the nutrients the plants needs for early growth and you'll burn it if you add any more at this stage. I'm surprised you're using all-mix for cuttings as Bio-Bizz propagating all-mix is better suited to clones and seedlings.

Regarding watering, it's worth putting the all-mix soil into a bowl and breaking it up with your hands and generally aerating and sieving it before adding water and working the soil till its moist and sticks together - then put it in the pot and pot the clone, but don't add any more water. This helps to ensure all the soil is moist and watered and you don't get any dry areas or air pockets.

I usually like to break my soil up and put my clone in, then i water the clone in.

perlite is great for beginners and people who like to water a lot.. It makes it very easy to avoid over watering.. adding extra perlite also make FLUSHING very easy.. just incase somebody over FEEDS the plants.. LOL

BUD BUD... i agree about starting with a very light/diluted nutrient solution and increasing slowly.... I would just wait a few days..
