i cant remember the rule of thumb for airflow, was it romve all air in room 2 times per minut?

so for a 100CF area u would need a 200CFM fan

or was it 2 times per hour?

lol i never remembered cuz i always use to use an AC unit in a close room setup, i am now gana attempt my 1st grow in a vented room with a carbon filter

any tips or heads up would be kewl, like i said i always used A/C and dehumd with no exhaust. im looking at doing a small room bout 10x10x10 maby a lil biger just a quess. i am going to build a filter box using carbon and furnace fiilters and plywood, then put it inside the room on the ceiling in the corner. then outside the room (inside wall of house) put a vent in to let the scrubbed air out. what kinda CFM and how much carbon am i lokken at needing

damn i didnt know there was a grow faq here, till i googled for 1. seems i need 5x the cfm as the rooms cf. so a 10x10x10 is 1000 cubic feet so i would need 5000cfm of airflow.

i am thinking to build a temporary wall to make the grow space just big enough for the light and plants and enclosed wit ha door, so that way i can cut out the empty space and ruduce the over all CFM need

is that how it works or is it beter to have a big open room with less CFM and just put the plants in the corner

i was gana have it this way just so i had a room to do work in like transplanting and such. and room to work with the plants. and more air to buffer the heat comen off the lights. thats how i did it when u used an A/C and dehumid.

with active exhaust is it beter to keep the grow space just big enough for ur grow, and no empty space? that way u can vent 100% of the roomers air faster
