heard this the other day and got me thinking.
if pinoccio tells you his nose is going to grow, does it grow or doesn't it?

It's left over from early fetal development - at a certain point we were just a fetus with an undetermined gender, and then a flood of hormones came along in utero and told us what gender we were going to be. Nipples are a leftover from that time. Men do have mammary tissue, anyway. Just a tiny, tiny bit of it.

I suppose it's not a good question for evolutionary believers..... as far as 'intelligent design' goes, why the hell do we have nipples???

last post on this as not to jack the man's thread; but I cannot accept that on the premises that we are the only critter this advanced. According to the order that everything in our universe seems to like to keep, if evolution were a complete fact, it would NOT be so selective.

evolution is a complete fact.

we are the only critter as advanced as we are, but others come awfully close.

to the op: why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

na guys it all good. all im looking for is good questions that make you think and require a good logical explanation. by all means post away. thats what i posted this thread for is explanations/discussion.
i think that adam and eve didnt have belly buttons because they werent born in a womb. but since they had children and what not we adapted for it. it is what is required for a baby to grow.

maybe whoever came up with one of them reversed it and though it would work just as well lol.
