Hey guys,

So this is her 2nd week of 12/12 and she is definitely starting to show more pistils and flower development. My question is that new leaves are also still forming at the tops around the new pistil growth. Is this normal? I am wondering because on my first grow my plant started to reveg during the flowering period and I don't want this to happen again. I am just not quite sure what to look for as a sign...

Thanks so much!:leaf:

Well if you're already doing the 12/12 light cycle there isn't much you can do except wait it out. I'm not sure why your plant would reverse course in the middle of flowering.

yes more leaves will grow from around those areas the plant will keep grow for like 6 weeks in bloom maybe even longer

Did you switch up your nutes with the change from veg->flower? Do you have any light leaks coming into your grow space? Is your plant from seed? Is it from clone? did you run 24/0 or 20/4 or 18/6 previously to the 12/12 flash?

Also pics help a lot
yeah unfortunately my camera was stolen. I am using bloom nutes. I did 24/0 with a full 24hours of darkness before going into 12/12. It is a clone. And my concern was that there could be some light leaking in, but it would be minimal. I just fixed that problem though...I don't know how much light would have to leak to cause a problem

It happened on my first grow because of light leaks, but it was outdoors in a bad location that I couldn't do anything about. This time I'm indoor and may have had the most minute amount of light leaking in....fixed that though.

Sadly, any light leak can cause a plant to herm or act weird, depending on the plant. There really is no true lumen count, or time amount exposed to light during the "night" to cause a plant to herm. A little might be enough to do it, often it depends on the strain and the stability of the genetics. Make sure the clone was from a female. If the clone was from a hermaphrodite plant or male, then surely it would act weird around now. The plant after around day 10 in transition (beginning 2 weeks of flower) will start to grow more lateral leaves from around the area it is budding from. Look on youtube if you can at some time-delayed videos of cannabis maturing. This might help your confidence in your plants and the way they are growing... or if may utterly terrify you, hard to tell off of the original post's observations haha.
Seriously though man, best of luck.
