Questions on my first time grow...

hi,

First off, is a 1000w HPS enough light for a 5x5 size room and how many plants will that attend to? hieght of cieling i figure would not be a problem as i intent to lower and raise the lights as need.

Secondly, i plan on veg with a 1000w MH, is that too much? and my veg space is about the equivalent size as my flower room if not a tad bit smaller. and again how many can i attend to with that amount of wattage, i am aware of the whole lumins thing but would just like a clearer insight..

a 1000w hps has a footprint of 9ftx9ft so you will be fine. Vegging with a 1000w MH is fine as long as your plants are well established and you have the proper ventilation to cool it down. How many you can grow depends on how big you want each plant in the end. You could easily do a 25 plant sea of green or grow 5 monster trees in that area.

Sweet. Is their anything wrong with vegging seedlings under the 1000MH right after the sprout through the medium?

Ok... So, I've started with 6 all 6 days old, not gonna nute till about 2nd or 3rd week, sound about right?
How can I establish these six to be monster bushes till I clone an army and make it a sea of green? Not that I hve a preference just interested in trying out both of these tactics.

ya you can put them under the 1000mh but put the light far above those delicate seedlings. research lst it will make them into bushes! i say nute at 3 weeks

def done some research but obviously not enough to account for these couple questions. what would make them monsters, pruning?

another question, germinaton happen within 2-3 days showing quick response as far as growth, sprout tail thingy was literally 1inch long poking through the cotton so i placed it in a grow medium for it to gain root strenth which happen another 2 to 3 days later. just transplanted into half gallon buckets with FF ocean forest a,d about 10% perlite.. is this ok or what?

further more, i plan on using 5gallon buckets when should i transplant to 5gallon if seedlings are already in half gallon and growing fast?

i was growing 7 babies under 1000 hps watts 7 weeks of vegging and 2 weeks of flowering found 4 males so i revegged my plants and waited for some clones imma put 20 clones with three ladies i got now and yea im lost i wanna kno what will give me the most because i want to help patients get meds and give my son what he needs thanks for the advice
