Questions for HPS v CFL grow

:?: arright guys im here with a couple questions on hps growing compared to cfl growing

I know the quality and quantity are better, along with more power being used

But i would like a little more of a personal question
I have 10 23w 2700k cfls on my plant right know for flowering
If i were to change to an 150w hps.. How much of a power difference would it be..
I have parents living in the house so power difference is kinda important..

Also, heres a pic of my grow room so you guys could also let me know if this closet is to small for hps.. heat wise and power wise

The closet dimensions are 4 feet 2 inches tall... 2 feet wide... 1 foot 2 inches deep

There are only 8 cfls in this pic but i now have 10

i know the basic wattage , but i have heard that the ballast actually puts out power too..

and if it is a hps blub that wattage has no difference from the cfl bulbs rright?
meaning 150w of cfl= 150w of hps?

150 watts is 150 watts, yes the ballast of the hps uses energy as does the ballast in cfls. But 150 watts of hps puts out more lumens than 150 watts of cfl

but the 150w hps would use less power and create much denser and more chronic buds..

also with the cfls i am constantly moving them down the plant to get the bottom of the plant lightt..

if i changed to the hps i would use 80w less than my cfl's now, and get more chronic.. so i think im going to go with that

can you guys let me know if this light is a good one to go with.. on 70 dollars and it would fit in my grow space, (to what i believe)

You could also add the 150hps and keep some of the cfls for the bottom of the plant, then you could add cfls till you equal the total wattage your currently using and get more lumens oh yeahhhh!!

ok dude ur parents wont really notice much of a spike in the power bill so i say, throw the HPS on top, and move the CFLS around your plant so it gets lighting from all angles

Arright guys so i am going to pick up a light ballast and reflector..

I found 2 different lights i am interested in..
One has the ballast built in to the reflector
http://www.amazon.com/Sun-System-Watt-Reflector-Ballast/dp/B00269RWQI

and one has the ballast seperate..
http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=53025

Which one looks better to you guys?
id go seperate. i had a 400w with a built in ballast and it vibrated the metal reflector a bit. not to stealth.

I don't use hps or anything.
But I just wanted to say, that is the best setup I've seen growing in a parents house.
