You need to provide the pedigree info like watering cycle, type and amount of lighting, and how much and what kind of nutrients.

Just by looking I'd say your watering looks inconsistent and you don't have a main light source.

It is growth defect. Either from light defeciency or inconsistent light schedule, or from overabundance of a certain hormone in the plant. Do not clone this plant. Cut off the top and any branches that have defective leaves. They will not produce quality.

I would guess this plant is too many generations old. If you really need to keep this strain for some reason. I would cut the plant down to a few inches high (where the leaves look normal) and put it on 24 hours light for several weeks. Then i would take a clone from the BOTTOM of plant. Then try that clone for a mother.

Your clones will more then likely show sex before you put them in flowering. The plant is now in auto flower mode. It will also more than likey veg while in flowering producing a lot of bushy branches and stringy small buds.

I have had a few orange bud plants that ended up like that, growing deformed.

Tried cutting back the leaves and hoped they would grow normal, but never did.

Some i killed and the others i just let them grow the cycle, they did produce, not
as good as a normal plant but at least they produced. Still looked fucked up though.

I wouldn't bother cloning from them unless you absolutely need to, As all clones taken
from the defective plants will be defective also.

Good luck,

it's normal. happens whenever you take cuttings late in flowering. if you veg it long enough it may straighten out. it should have no bad affects.
