You can never have enough and i mean seriously NEVER. and wattage the highest you can get your hands on, you want atleast 100 watt equivalent bulbs. (about 23 watt CFLs) but the higher the better. i have 4 X 18 watt bulbs and 2 X 23 watt bulbs and i want more and well i am going to be changing those 18 watts to 23 watts hopefully. My plants are happy with light but they will be more than happy with more. I am growing only 2 plants though.

How many plants are you growing?

How big is the area?

Also 6500K is for VEG and 2700K is for Flowering (I think 6500K is daylight bulbs)

but post a pic of where u wanna grow. this is how i have mine done.

The first pic is from today and the second pic is yesterday.

All kinds of CFLs bro and I love em all!

Never have too much light only too much heat. That's why I only use CFLs, closet/small grows can warm up quick with HIDs unless you start cutting holes in walls or doors and venting crazy amounts of air for a relatively small grow. Instead most just LST to create a nice even canopy so the CFL penetration is a non-issue or supplement lower areas of the plants with more CFLs since adding more of them is usually easily done.
I'd keep adding lights if I had anymore room personally. Heat is the only restraint when it comes to limiting lighting assuming you use the proper 6500k veg and 2700k flower in the appropriate intervals.
