Questions about Eco LED Grow 300 MK2

Hey. This is my first thread on this forum. And i kinda needed to ask couple of questions, but before that i gonna represent this beautifull led light.
This is link where you can buy it but is in swedish:http://www.elnordic.se/Produkter/produkt.asp?pid=329&pk=54. But i here is the google translate from the specification:

Eco LED Grow 300 MK2

MK2 - The new generation plant lighting

• 2W high power LED Chip
• 7 Different Wavelengths
• Eco Switch

In the new generation of new LED plant lights are the active wavelengths of several; two different red and two different blue and orghange, IR, UV.

In our new LED plant lights, the red / blue spectrum are separated by on / off buttons or lights simultaneously, depending on which phase the plant is in, while electricity consumption decreased by 50%.

The effect of the diodes are now 2W (1W in the older models), resulting in greater illumination area, even light distribution, high lumen and a better penetration.
HPS and metal-related problems such costly purchases and replacements of lamps is avoided thanks to the product's longevity.

Product does not contain mercury or other heavy metals.

The lamps have now better cooling of the diodes, resulting in lower operating temperatures, and longer life.

LED lighting plant is very suitable for all types of plant planting inside. This is based on all stages of land cultivated and hydro-cultivated plants in individual pots, plant stores, indoor gardens, greenhouses and more. The LED luminaire opening LEDs in the design of very small units for the individual plants to large units are adapted for the entire greenhouse. All LED lights have built-in thermostatically controlled cooling fans, has a burn time that lasts at least 50,000 hours and are designed for damp and even frigid environment. The lamps are environmentally friendly and contain no hazardous substances.

Fact:

LEDs have a custom light spectrum that is optimum for photosynthesis and makes the plant a better root development, larger buds solutions and provides a better harvest comparable to today's traditional plant lighting. LED luminaires offer custom wavelengths (Nm) 400-700nm ie same light as sunlight. Chlorine Fill A and Chlorophyll B absorbs light maximally with LED plant lights from Eco Light Nordic AB as they contain specially designed for the purpose of wavelengths. Blue light emitting 440-470 nm and red light 620-650 Nm. For larger projects and contracts can be LED light wavelengths are mixed after the project's requirements and thus obtain optimal absorption.
LEDs do not get hot, which means that they can be hung close to the plant leaves without damaging or buds. With LED plant lighting energy savings can be up to 80% and it is environmentally friendly. Because its longevity to avoiding costly purchase and replacement of HPS (high pressure sodium lamps) and metal halide lamps, both of which contain mercury and other heavy metals.
Applications are numerous, and so far very good growth performance achieved with home growers and large plant o hothouse. The following works well with LED lighting plant: tomatoes, chili peppers, beans, salads, melons, potatoes, cut flowers, domestic flowers, lime tree and lots of different pre-cultivated stages before the normal planting.

LED plant lighting becomes tomorrow's standard.

GENERAL:
On / off model for the red and blue color spectrum for plant photosynthesis. 50% silver and 50% red.
With on / off function, you can save 50% energy savings when the led driver and diodes can be switched off.
Provides the right light at seedling germination and subsequently, the spectrum changes from budding to flowering stage.
RED: 60 x 2-watt high-power LEDs (30 x 660 nm, 30 st 630nm)
BLUE: 60 pcs 2watts high-power LEDs (30 x 440Nm, 470Nm 30 pcs)
ORANGE: 12 2watts high-power LEDs (12 x 610Nm)
UV: 6 2watts high-power diodes (6 x 410Nm)
IR: 6 2watts high-power diodes (6 x 740Nm)

300W (144x 2W) and produces more than the normal 500-800W HPS (high pressure sodium) or MH (metal halide) lamps. Electricity savings are 75% - 85%.
Built-in cooling system with 6 thermostatically controlled cooling fans.
Custom wavelengths.
CE-approved built-in electrical system, a so-called "Plug and play".
Red is good for flowers and blue for the vegetables.
The illuminated surface and the height varies depending on the plant environment and choice of plants.

I mean it looks cool to me. And i think it would be perfect. But I am kinda confused about some things that are in the specifications. And this is where questions start coming. It looks to good to be true :)
This is couple of things that i have problem believing and i need your help:
- First it says that is good for growing on area 30m2(square meter). And they mention that is good for tomatoes. And as i know tomatoes and weed is kinda same to grow indoors especially about lightning. So can you grow bud on a 30m2 with this light and get ammount that would be suitable for that place.
- Second there says that you can use it 5 meters from the plant and still not lose no light. Is this true or you still need to have the lights as close.
- And there is two more colors that you dont regularly find in every LED light. UV light and IR. I have heard that if you put UV light on a top of weed plant thatthe plant is gonna build up resin as much as it can just to protect it self. But why is the IR?

So there is bunch more questions about this light. But general is this light legit and if it is can i really use it on 30m2 or how much should the the maximum surface be for it.
I would be greatufull so much if you make me come to a conclusion about this light.
Peace:peace:

I seriously doubt anything using only 240 watts of electricity could supply enough energy to a 30 square metre of plant canopy!

I would also point out that it's UVB(280-315nM) you want. 410nm is visible light in the violet spectrum not UV!

For your $1000 USD look at a solar storm or solar flare from California light works or maybe cheaper like a blackstar or 200w advanced diamond series.

if you want to grow a 30m2 canopy you will need either deeeeeep pockets or the sun =)

Yes i know but the point is not to reach the 30m2 space, but acctualy see how much space can i luminate with these lamp? And what yield can i have with it. cuz is not that much statistic yet on LED's. Thx for all the feedback, it helped:)
