So i know its good to have atleast one bb (beneficial bacteria) in your soil or in my case coco coir.

I was using canna coco which already has trichoderma in it, according to the guy at my shop i shouldnt use great white (mycorrhizae) or even molasses because the trichoderma from the coco already contains its own bb.

My question is...

Can you use more than one bb?

Ive always used molasses before but now im being told it breaks down into its own bb and unecessary with canna coco or if you use great white?

Can anyone expound on this?

Thanks guys!

Molasses and other sugars feed the bacteria in soil. It is not a beneficial bacteria.

From what I understand, mycorrhizae and trichoderma don't work together. Its either one or the other.

IMO, you shouldn't be too concerned with bb in coir. That stuff is best in organic "living soil" mixes and even then its effectiveness is debatable.

Focus on the micro and macronutrients your plant needs and maintaing a proper pH. There will be no need for unnecessary products.

Keep it simple.

Thats just me though.

It should be fine to add any of the benificials products out there (Great White, Roots Oregonism, Voodoo Juice etc.) Never heard about myco and tricho not working working together considering Great White and Roots Oregonism have both plus bacteria. I've tried A.N. benificials and am now useing Roots Oregonism and can't see any difference. Haven't tried Great White yet, but I've seen grows with it and seems to to do the job well.

If your soil already contains bb or mycorrhizae you should be ok I used happy frog soil with humic acid and mycorrhizae, got some pretty nice roots with out any additives only thing is your going to want to add more later on as they will be flushed out as you water when I transplanted to ocean forest I started adding zho which is an cheap alternative to some of those pricey ones like great white.Dont get me wrong tho I heard great things about great white, voodoo tarantula etc but I would just use one or the other I remember when I first started growing I wanted to buy A.N whole line up and didnt realize the different schedules like organic etc and probably would have bought every single nutrient they have to offer like an idiot lol.

ZHO is endomycorrhizal and Trichoderma so I would say you're safe to use both together.
