Question: Turning R.S. Iso Oil into a Salve

I have made Rick Simpson's Cannabis Oil using Iso Alcohol for the first time recently.
I'd like to use some of it to make a salve so I can use it on larger areas.

From what I've read, my 'Salve Base' will most likely be:
-1 part BeesWax to 2 parts Oil
-The oil will be 75% Coconut Oil and 25% Emu Oil.

What I haven't been able to find is an estimated amount of how much pre-made Rick Simpson Cannabis Oil to add to how much of the 'Salve base'.

Basically I'm looking for a ratio for R.S. Cannabis Oil to Salve Base?

Also, I've read that coconut oil and emu oil can go bad...
Does anyone know a way or an ingredient to add that would stop spoilage?

If anyone can help me out that would be awesome. Thanx.

Well, someone told me yesterday to make sure to have at least 3.5g of RSO per 16oz of base.
So I guess I got 1 of my 2 questions answered :)

And I think I've had an ingredient change:
-3g of RS Cannabis Oil per 12oz of Salve Base
-50% Coconut Oil,
-25% Almond Oil
-25% Emu Oil
-A couple of drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
-About 4oz of BeesWax

Hopefully I'll be able to pull this off in the next few wks.

Found this on another discussion board if this helps you any.

Simple Canna Salve

28oz organic coconut oil
2oz dried fan leaves

Add the coconut oil to a rice cooker or slow cooker
rough chop the fan leaves, and add to the cooker

let it steep for an hour or 2 stirring occasionally.

when done, remove/strain the vegetable matter with a clean cotton cloth or cheese cloth
pour it into a tub and let cool.

All measurments approx, as well as the steep time. I usually use a rice cooker because if I
happen to forget to keep an eye on it, it won't burn.

Hi, i am also looking for the same info and having a difficult time finding the ratio recipe. If you have any other info please share.
Vitamin E oil acts as a preservative.
Thanks for the info.

Here is a link to Holy Anointing Oil Topical, which works well and should give you a sense of ratios of concentrate to total ingredients:

https://skunkpharmresearch.com/holy-anointing-oil-and-holy-shit/

We experimented with massage oils by adding other oils like Jojoba, Vitamin E, Emu, to a coconut oil base, as well as saponifying oils to make cannabis soap, but never found anything that worked better than the original Holy Anointing Oil.
