Hey Blazin...red stems are usually P deficiency, cold exposure, or genetics. if there is Mg deficiency the first thing that will happen is the leaf will curl up like a taco.

Here check this out and I hope it helps you!

Perhaps I should qualify myself, red stems and yellowing can be related to deficiency of both N and P, as well as Mg. However Mg usually appears as taco leaves first.

Not in my experience. Mg deficiency first appears as yellow mottling and spots on the tips of the leaves and the veins remain green. As the deficiency prgresses the tips turn brown and the leaves can start to curl up.

The early signs are quite similar to Nitgrogen deficiency - the difference is that with Mg the veins remain green whereas with N, they don't. As the deficiency progresses the whole leaf turns yellow and eventualy will turn a crispy light brown colour and drop off.

Mg deficiency usually presents as upturned serrated edges on the leaf (as if they're praying for Mg). To much Ca, Cl, or N from NH4 sources as well as pH imbalance can lock up Mg. Too much Mg can lock up P. Middleagecrazy must have memory loss - the dilution for epsom salts (MgSO4) is 2 tablespoons per gal H2O.

Is this from what you've read or practical experience?

here's my opinion. transplant NOW !! get them in their final pots if you have the space available. those little babies wanna grow. give them a few days to chill after transplanting then start a nitrogen program. those babies want to grow. those leaves look great, hella fat. the spotting may be from burning when misting. could be many other things. i'd transplant and see how they are after that. were those clones. i see cut leaves. if so those dying leaves look like the ones the cutting used to root with. IT'S FINE !! LET 'EM GROW !! :hump::blsmoke::peace::joint::joint:

the stems for the leafs are red is this a prob?
No it is not a problem. It seems that the older a plant gets they start to develop a reddish stem. When I was ready for harvest on my last grow, all of the fan leaves were pretty red.
