question for those who know more than me

So, I have a question

I have some strains that are perfectly healthy, some that arent.

One specifically gets sicker more quickly, but also finishes more quickly.

My question is can genetics make it nearly impossible to have a healthy plant, or can any genetics be kept healthy through the end?

It could be the sick ones are more touchy, or more sensative to nutrient changes....

Just curious... half my garden is healthy the other half has yellowing fan leaves like N deficiency or lockout. Just looking for input in general terms on genetics, if that could be to blame or not. I think it is just 2 strains out of 5 that are unhealthy repeatedly.
Just curious

when two non true breeding types of plant mix, there is variation and different plants grow differently, cant develope weaknesses or build up immunities to certain things. just like when two people reproduce right. if onefamily has a history of cancer there is a good chance it will be passed on. gentics are everything

sorry just checked back

the sick ones are
Special queen (freebie, but my stinkiest strain!)
Hash plant x kush (or hindi kush or something) another freebee (sometimes turns out good, just low yield, sometimes goes hermie and is terrible)

Healthy:
Diesel
Mixed fem plant
another mixed bag fem seed plant
God Bud

Im thinking its me and not the genetics... just not paying close enough attention to spot when they need nutes, and what nutes (N def, if I had to guess).

exactly man, some genetics are just not as hardy as others, and different strains or even different phenos will have different needs so its a matter of gaining experience with the plants you have and mastering their individual environments.
