I have eight plants from bagseed currently growing under 6500K CFLs 18/6 and which will be switched to 2700K 12/12 in another week or so. Two of the plants are from different bags of good nug and if either or both turn out to be males I might want to put the pollen on a promising female to produce some hopefully good seeds for the next grow.
My question is, if I collect pollen and put it on only one branch of a flowering female, will that stop production of flowers and trichs on the rest of the plant? If I wait until harvest time, remove all but one branch and then apply pollen will that remaining branch produce viable seeds?
Thanks in advance for your input.
