I use hot water then add to my nutes. you going to use it in a res. find one of these guys that do it. I tried once and it fraged my system. nasty sticky shit. lol I love the stuff.

I dilute it in a glass of water. I nuke or boil the water till its hot, then add my molasses and stir till its well mixed in, then I add it to my nute/water solution.

well, i saw you said resivoir, so does that mean you're doin hydro?? if so, i've always heard not to use molasses in hydro cause it gunks shit up...if you're using soil, like me, i just shake the bottle up, and add 1 tbsp per gallon of water, then stir it vigoursly into the water jug....hope that helps...

in hydro the best way is warm water in a gallon pitcher then 2 table spoons per gallon you have ion your res. This will make your res get frothy and little stink so only use it like 2 days before each res change since you will have to clean the res afetr using it.Mix the molasses in the pitcher til disolved and dump it in the res..make sure its unsulphured molasses

yup and just got done with a flood table which i used molasses as an additive.Like I said it will make some mess and can get stinky but use only in flower and at points 2 days before res changes..never use in aero grows ever

Sorry forgot who was saying good things about it for hydro. I think they were using it for a carb boot. not sure. Everything I've read on molasses said it helps the microbes in the soil.

ok... well i think imma hit my res with some mollasses 2nite... and then in about 2 days start 2 flush em with just water and mollasses for a bout a week.. maybe even hit em wit 3 or 4 days of water after that before i chop em... think that sounds beneficial.. really just trying to thicken / resin up my buds be4 harvest..

lol yeah since I was one of the few aero growers and like to play with stuff I got nominated to do the test so I tried it in an aero grow and shit myself as it turned my res into a rootbeer float and clogged all 38 misters in 6 hours lol..do not run molasses for more then day or 2 as it will get sticky and stink and make your table gunky. use it then dump it then wipe stuff dowen and clean the res. Then you can use it 2 days before your final flush then empty it clean it and run clean water to flush. do not run it for a week you will be sorry

Molasses is used for its carbohydrates which makes the plant process food better and gets the resin glands to swell and make more resin ie thc. If you have some cash like $25 its better to use like sugar daddy or sweet or sweetleaf as its refined and cleaner and can run better in hydro

you dont use molasses in a dwc, bubble, or aero. in a dwc or bubbler you will get root rot and in aero it will clog up your sprayers. if you are doing any of these you are better off using a weight gainer like botanicare sweet, gravity, etc. they are designed as a molasses substitute for these systems

part right from sir. You can use molasses in hydro setups except aero and fogponics. It does make a mess and you do not run it all the time just in short cycles but he is right to offer the alternatives for hydro setups as they are much cleaner running.
