atleast let them reach sexual maturity before you flower them.. this includes either preflowers or uneven nodes.. this will help you get you closer to your goal.. also, flower in the biggest size pots that you can use, the more room the roots have to grow, the bigger the yeild will be..

So at which height should i start to flower for an ounce or more?

that depends on your strain, lights, nutes, exc. some strains grow an oz at a foot tall some need two or three.

research you strain. or tell us your set up and strain maybe some one here has grown it and knows. and pics wouldnt hurt seeing the plant tells more than words

Lot of variables - but I flower under 400w HPS, at around a foot high - and they finish between three and four feet, thus far, with an average of around 1.25 ounce per plant.

I am growing White widow and Snow white. The Snow white's are both 2 feet tall. The White widow is around 1.5 feet tall. Im using a 250w and a 400w hps for veg. Im going to use them both for flowering. They're growing in 5 gallon pots and im watering every other day. For nutes im using BC grow and boost, Thrive alive, SUgar daddy, and Magical all mixed in one. Hopefully thats enough info to give you an idea

not sure on the snow white but I'm growing white widow and they will grow plenty in flower, so if they are bushy not just 18 inch twigs you should be ok flowering at the height they are for an oz

5 gallons is quite big, so the root mass needs time to fill it up. When it comes to the right time to flower, well, as stupidclown stated, there's a lot of variables. White Widow and Snow White (not grown myself), are indica-dominant, right? That generally implies little stretch after inducing them to 12/12, so you can let them veg until they've grown in size, particularly in 5 gallon-pots. Hope you have at least 600w for 12/12...
Have you topped them? Do you tie them? Are they clones or seed? (grows taller from seed). Do you use co2? Anyways, around 2 feet, hm? I would induce flowering now... And forget about the focus on weight! Concentrate on health, temperature, correct feeding, lights/reflection and yield will follow in the wake of the love for your plants...

If you flower them now, you won't have any trouble getting an ounce per plant. Is that 3 plants with those 2 lights? Hell yeah, put one under the 250 and the other 2 under the 400, spread them out so the light can penetrate, and you should also do a little LST and tie the branches open a little further. If things go smoothly, you should be getting well over an ounce per plant. Did you top them, FIM, etc...? If not, and they only have one main top, you should spend an extra week to FIM each of them, ending up with 4+ mains per plant. And if supercropping sounds interesting, read a little on that and decide if it sounds like it's up your alley. :)

Whats FIM???? I got six plants...3 white widows 3 snow whites. One of my plants has 13 nodes that are about an inch shorter then the main top. The others have between 5-8 nodes. I havent topped them but i do plan on changing to 12/12 next week. Im very curious on what FIM is though? If it is possible to get 4+ mains per plant without hurting them please let me know

I dont have a 600w but i do have a 400w and 250w that i will use for flowering. I put them next to each other so that six plants get a fair share of both lights. I don't use co2 but i do sleep in the same room as them with my girl, so im hoping my fan is sucking up all the co2 it needs. Temps are at a steady 78 and yes they are straight from feminized seeds. Is it true that in flowering they grow 3x the height in 5 gallon pots?
