Question about Pink and Purple Strains

One of the many things that I have heard about the pink and purple strains is that the colors are brought on by cool temperatures. Is this true? We don't get anything colder than 60's at night, and usually higher. Just wondering if I would have any luck.

some strains will go purple or pink regardless of temps, and some will only go either with the cooler temps..

It depends on the strain your using but if it's in it's genetics it will turn that color when it ages in flowering thou you can get some to turn with clod temps. Anything with DJ's BB in it usually will show some purple and Sub's plush berry has a pink pheno in the line
