I noticed in the pic with yellow top totes your light just has vent tubing on one side so do you just suck the hot air off the light? Way I have mine the inline fan or whatever you cal it not duct fan way bigger looks like jet engine anyway it pulls cool fresh air from outside which is blown across the light then vented out of my tent back outside via attic vent. But your able to keep light cool that way ha? Maybe sime you have much larger space it's better my smal 3x3x6 tent gets hot as fuxk even though it's on concrete in my garage. If I didn't cool the light it's probly catch fire

Wow sweet setup those plants are fuckin beasts dude I'm jealous big time! Makes me wanna convert this spare bedroom so bad. Your killing me man. Growing is like a sickness I keep jonesing for more bigger better haha. Good thing my shallow pockets keep me grounded
Thanks man. Worked hard at this hobby. Its finally paying off. Big plants are a PITA when your res can only hold 3 gallons. Im chained to these buckets. They need daily pH since the buffer room is tiny(3 gallons) and I change out the res every 3 days.

I've spent way too much money. Pales in comparison to what others spend.

Money is definitely tighter now that I bought a house a couple years ago.

Was growing at my girlfriends fathers house before this.

I hear ya though. Im always thinking about adding another room in the basement and filling my med card up.

I can grow 12 flower 12 veg where im from.

I've ran a 600w MH 24/7 for a couple months without air cooling and it didnt catch fire lol.

I dont have a fan on it currently. I need the heat it was winter. Even with the light going my room was low 70s. Which sets my vapor pressure deficit (VPD) about right with my 60% humidity.

But the plan is to cut a hole into the veg area and suck air from there, creating a negative pressure in the veg which sucks in air through a filter box in the veg room(not buiilt yet, lazy stoner i am) and that pumps into my basement to heat it up.

Then I have a carbon filter that sucks are from the flower room to the outside, air comes into the flower room through a filter box(not build yet, lazy stoner i am) so I jsut leave the door opened a crack.

But the plan is to have the flower room being able to be sealed and supplement CO2 in the summer when im using the AC to cool the room. Be a waste of AC to exhaust it. But I still need CO2. And the fan isnt enough to cool the room on its own, so I need AC.

I have an exterior door on each room.

That's cool I was living in San Diego where shits way mellow then I bought a cabin in the woods in Easter kentucky. It's dope here but the laws no joke. Have plenty of room for my outdoors stuff but I try and keep the indoor setup small so as not to raise to many flags. It's funny I grew up in Massachusetts and moved away bout 12 years ago and seems like New England has really mellowed out weed wise that's cool hope Kentucky follows the trend. I know you SCrog have you ever tried to super crop plants or methods of low stress training. I usually top or FIM my outdoor plants. But this year I am gonna try to super crop a few and see how it goes. Also have one plant I'm tying down to see if I can get a straight row of just monster buds. Wondering if you have any insight or advice

I'm fortunate to live out in the boonies so I'm gonna just let my garage stink I thought about getting a filter but would rather put that money towards other shit.

Super cropping is not low stress training (LST) at all. It puts tremendous amounts of stress on the plant. I top once or twice. Thats about it.

I grew up in Massachusetts as well. Live in Rhode Island now. Mass is not going to let people grow at home once dispensaries are setup. They call it taxachusetts for a reason. Should be moving soon. Saw plans for a 560kw legal operation in Plymouth, MA. Shit had 8 flower rooms.

I couldnt the 1kw lights. 560 of them lol.

Got a question I was changing out my res today and after adding my nutes I checked ppm it was around 500 then when I adjusted my ph down a little I happen to check ppm again and it was down. Idk if my meter is fucked up it's not able to be calibrated. But I've never had this happen before and I checked each bucket they all seem to be doing the same thing? Any ideas

How much did it drop? And how long after pouring in nutes did you wait to take a measurement?

All I can do is guess based on what ive seen in my own setups. Here are possibilities starting with the most possible.

Nutrients werent fully mixed and you hit a hot spot when you were measuring.

The second measurement your probe was inside the bubbles. This can cause low readings even with a fully mixed res.

Your meter is indeed garbage.

Depending how long after your second measurement your plants ate. Ive had my feed drop about 200ppm in one day.
