question about Mr. Green Setup

the mr green 8 part video or whatever on youtube, when the guy paints himself green and does a drip system and epp and flow.


i noticed that his veg/clone/mother room only has 1 resivoir. I dont really understand how he keeps mother plants growing stable plus grows clones and veg's them with the same resivoir. A mother plant needs totally different nutrient levels than younger clones.... how is this possible without burning the little guys and without giving the mothers too little nutes.?????

I can say the clones lived with hand sprayer only first few days, maybe a week.

After cutting the mother you might need to lower nutes...?
and if your feeding the new clones with the same res then first 2 weeks can be lower


He waited till he got results by flowering to determine sex
then raised the nutes in the veg room to full strength I think let me see...

If I remember correctly the mother wasn't too big, plus he was doing it for tutorial purposes, so he probably has a separate res. and a tray within the tray, with a drip system maybe for clones/seedlings normally. That's how I would do it if I grew with ebb and flow.. /peace

He put 2 clones (1w old) into flowering room with 1/2 strength nutes the remaining clones sat in dome...

Part #7 starts out(after lesson)
he pulls clones out of flowering room after 2.5w(3.5w old clones)
the remaining clones in veg were 3.5w and mums were 11.5w when he put clones to full nutes in veg

the dude Is a guru...
he knows to set his nutes depending on the plants growth/age
and in addition he uses several hand sprayers to deliver nutes that are not in res to plants
I use 4 hand sprayers...
one is bubbly water(use on plants once a day)
one full strength veg nutes
one full strength flower nutes
one plain H2O (clones 3 times a day first 10days)
