I am two weeks from harvest and i noticed i have a mite problem first time with the problem I'm treating with an organic pestiside called no spider mites I'm gonna wipe the plants off with the pestiside and put the plaabts in 55 gallon trash bags and fill the bag up with co2 for a couple hours but this close to harvest could i cut majority leaves off? Or would it shock the plant

ive heard of people just replacing the oxygen with co2 it will suffocate the mites i did it earlier to a smaller batch and they looked fine afterwards and i havent seen a negative sign still. will cutting the leaves off shock the plant?

it may stunt it for a bit, but you've vegged them out already. i've heard that CO2 will harm plants in high levels, but i would think a short blast might be okay. but not too long. CO2 makes living things' ph drop.

so it went well, i look on the plants and ive seen what appears to be dead mites i checked them with a 45X lens. the larger plants i did for two hours but i did smaller plants for 3 hours because i figured if the big plants could live 2 hours with that much co2 the smaller plants should be able to do 3. Hopefully i wont ever have to do this again.
