question about LST

never lst'd before. only topped. my question is, do you have to untie the plant during flowering? could you just lst it, get crazy bud spots and keep it tied down to continue the growth in those areas? resulting in a great number of colas...

Yes, you can, and imo you should keep your plant tied down during flowering if that is all the training that you are going to do. This plant is being lst'ed to be put under a scrog screen, which will take the place of the ties for training.IMG00058-20100721-0713.jpg

this was done by putting a bunch of superficial breaks in key stems to bend them over after that the weight of the stem keeps it bent some strains are not siiuted for this the more indaca they are the more they resist hope this helps. ps the yield of this plant was 3.62 oz

Yeah, that's what I think ill do. When I said I haven't tried it I lied. I have a plant that I topped back in April and I tied two of the main colas down about 4 days ago. bid spots just up in numbers. I just didn't know if I should keep it tied down but now I know. Thanks brothers.
