question about lighting in relation to yeild/quality

I just had a real fast question. I'm just finishing my first grow. Small plant got a little over an oz and I've not harvested the whole plant. The buds are a little lose but much better than the swag the seed came from. I used 4, 23watt 4, 42watt and a 90watt cfl. I just added a 150watt hps lap to the mix. Will this help with the yeild and such in any noticable ways?

Yeah but she was such a pretty plant until I started cutting on her. I have two other much larger girls on my 2nd grow and hoping for thicker buds on them with the addition of the hps lamp
