Question about indoor sunlight.

Sup folks!

I'm having my first indoor grow ever, using a 200W CFL. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to take my plants to sunlight during day (like put them at a well lit window) and put them back under the 200W CFL at night. Could the change in intensity of the light be a problem?

Thanks for your advice!

If you really want a pot plant in the window go for it. Wont hurt anything. I personally try to keep my garden hidden tho.

Cool then!

The window is oddly placed; it's a basement window, receiving direct sunlight during daytime. Cool thing is, it's not visible to any neighboor. Also gotta say that my neighboor is a toker too. Once the spring starts and it get's warmer outside, my babies might even be allowed to go play outside on the patio! Thanks for the info!

Playing outside for indoor plants just invites all types of bugs and mites. I'd would recommend against any indoor plants being taken outside unless you're dropping off to finish outdoors. Once you introduce mites to your indoor garden they will most likely be there to stay.

Is your 200 watt light actual watt or equivalent? Sunlight intensity decreases alot passing thru a window. Probably better off keeping it under your light if its 200 actual watts.

If you have access to direct sunlight, keep you plant in it for as many hours per day as possible.
Your plant will thank you!
