question about growing stages.

I'm trying to figure out the definable moment between the seedling stage and the vegetative stage. Any answers?

what for, to determine when to add the nutes or what?

Well i ment, whenever i read up on the stages of growth it was: germination, seedling, vegetative, flowering. Every other transition is easy to define, but i guess seedling to veg is just a blur.

When you get 4 or 6 leaves, I would consider that time to veg.

Personally, I consider everything from the day I germinate the seed, on right up to flowering, my vegetative stage.

yea seedling is really just describing the plant not the grow cycle, after they are germed then they are veggin

For me it's when the cotyledons start to shrivel before they fall off, when it's time to find how much nutrients the plant can handle.
