Question about general hydroponics ph up/down in soil

i have general hydro ph up/down. my ph is about 7 right now (in ocean forest soil with the fox farm trio of nutes). plants are a little over half way through flowering. looking quite well to be honest. ph needs to be lowered to 6.5 or 6.

when i got the product i didnt bother to read the label (was in a hurry...my fault). when had the chance i read the bottle only to find out it doesnt say how much to give.

ive heard "drops" from a dropper is all you need (at first i assumed 1 tsp per gallon of water but didnt wanna chance it so i havent used it).

im using 5 gallon pots.

when i say the ph is 7 even i mean thats what the ph is when i stick my meter in the soil.

how much ph down should be mixed in per gallon of water? any help would be great.

i have a meter...but its soil ph meter (the 3 prong ones)....when i stick it in the soil it says the ph is exactly at 7 in every pot. however two of them are showing some slight ph issues...im assuming thats just one of the phenos that are more ph sensitve as the others are thriving w/ no signs.

so i was looking to adjust down half a point at a time (ie. from a ph of 7 down to 6.5) so i was wondering how many drops are needed (i was told you only need a few drops) but other threads i found insisted more. i dont wanna damage them but at the same time i dont wanna spend 2 weeks trying to lower it either.

if it makes any difference i let my water sit out 24 hrs prior to watering (24 hrs at least...sometimes more) i dont think my meter would measure in water as it specified SOIL...maybe i can? i will try.

i sugg U get yo self a liquid meta so you cah da water and yo food mix befo you give to yo plants soil can only check befor you give and after more important to know what you givin it i for some reason use from 6.3 to 6.8 i dont know where i got it from i fluctuate between the numbers any where in between is OK wit me when i feel a little hyper i shoot for 6.5 on the nose easyest way to prevent problems get a meter or the strips like swim pool or the drops but you should check and if everything stays the same you dont have to check every time but i still do any grower worth his nutes will tell you gotta stay on top of ph check it out
