FFOF from seed, and a couple clones ... 012.jpg

i experienced NO issues. no burning. these plants are a month old and have been fed nothing but plain water. i think FFOF is perfect. :bigjoint:

your soil will compress after your first watering.

Never had any problems with ffof starting from seed, but you will burn them with it if you over water your seedlings, from my experience anyway.

holy shit dudes, Im just browsing and I come across this and CONSIDERING I just planted my 8 seedlings in that soil im freaking out... but it looks as the tides have leveled with equally if not more people saying there will be no issues right? Id GO CRAZY if my grow goes bad! Check my sig for the grow now.. but really i hope it doesnt hurt them.

Just be careful not to overwater when they're little, less is more, and they'll be just fine. With ffof you won't need any nutes for at least a month unless they're extremely heavy feeders. Buy a cheap moisture meter to check the soil if your not sure. Just my opinion from the experiences I've had.

ok cool thank you, so I should let it just become dry on the surface then water the next day?

If only there were a soil that could cover up our mistakes *sigh*

...FFOF has no "fertilizer"
...yes it does, orgainics are fertilizers

i started my seeds in ffof, there were no problems. they are just past 2 weeks, and they are great, and yes if you overwater them, you will burn them. FFOF has organics, such as fish meal, and crab meal. That is what puts the nutrients into the soil.

This is the first but not the last time fdd2blk and I agree, but yes, it is OK to start your seeds in FFOF. I have even cloned in it before, although I would suggest something with less or no nutes for cloning.

Good luck!
