question about "fast version" plants

So i was just wondering, with fast versions being considered non-autoflowrring (according to their breeders packs) do they still need to be switched to 12/12 to flower. Or do they retain the predetermined flowering time and can stay under 18-20 hours of light through the whole cycle?

Still 12/12....imho "fast" strains can be hit or miss....even light source can skew it....after being under LEDs for over a year, I can say, just like quite a few else, that I am getting strains to finish 7-10 days earlier than other lighter source, pretty consistently..... maybe a take away, I dont know :peace:

Haven't done a fast strain under LED specifically to see if the above is true either...

something like

Pitbull
Early Girl
Early Pearl
Williams Wonder

What gear are you running or thinking about running??

i built a 22"x22"x46" micro tent for a single plant (i just grow to self supply)
and i use a 150w hps. (the cfl is for extra blue spectrum)
i meant to get blackjack autos and got the blackjack fast version by mistake. should be just fine though, i read the grow journal that the breeders preformed themselves, they ran 20day veg and 50day flower for a total of 70 days making it almost like an auto, final wight wasn't given but the pics posted speak for themselves. props to sweetsweeds for another great crossbreeding!20150225_195146.jpg13454451455_2d436b9ae5_o.jpg 13744286353_c39dbe7913_o.jpg 13744693934_9002f55746_o.jpg 13744707774_1bd9ec1cf6_o.jpg 13744729984_feec157da6_o.jpg
