question about curing?

Well should i put the buds in the jars when the stems of the buds snap or when most of the bud is dry and still has moisture?? my first grow i did it when the stems snapped and cured for 2 weeks and got a nice concrete couchlock stone but now iv read that u need to have a bit of moisture in the bud or these prosesses wont take place.

I've never found the stem snapping thing to be very helpful. You dry until the buds just start to feel crispy on the outside, they will still be wet inside. Jar them up and check in a few hours for moisture on the inside glass -- if you feel wetness, leave the jars open.

You should really look into the hygrometer method, it takes the guesswork out.

I just put some in jars, heres how it usually works out for me,not all buds are the same size so smaller buds will be dry first,so the smaller buds stems will snap before the larger ones, when the larger buds stems are almost to the point where they are dry enough to snap I jar them up,the smaller dryer buds will even out the moisture, you have to be careful that you dont jar them up with to much moisture in the bud or you can get mold,I open the jars 2 times a day for a week or so and thats it,everybody has there own ways of drying and cureing this is my method and it works just fine. good luck
