I have only smoked twice in my life and today this kid I know told me he can get me "7 dubs for 40 dollars." I told him I would think about it and I have. He told me the weed isn't that good but it will serve it's purpose. I've been thinking that maybe the shits laced. I dunno, as I said I am a newb when it comes to this which is why I am here. Is there anyway I can tell if the weed is fake and am I right that this is simply too good to be true? Thanks for all the help in advance.

I honestly wouldn't bother. Even if the weight is straight, it will be a terrible smoke.
It isn't laced with anything to make it more "potent", but i'm sure its got lots of pesticide residue and whatnot on it.
In summation, i wouldn't do it just because its going to be straight mexi brick weed that will barely get you buzzed and make you cough alot.

If you KNOW the dealer, like a friend or a long time hook up, I don't see the problem with trusting it. But if you're buying from someone you've never dealt with before, or even someone you just don't know well enough, check it first.
