Question about bennies

Do you have to feed your bennies to keep them alive or putting a new serving weekly will do the trick?

Also, if I use chemical nutrients like GH flora series, will I kill the bennies in my DWC?

When you change your reservoir you start a new batch in the res. I recommend using cheese cloth and tieing up your bennies into a sack with string or fishing line attached to outside of res.

GH flora won't hurt bennies at all but a root anti bacteria solution can and will.

Shouldn't kill them, get some flora nectar or unsulfured molasses if you want to feed them.
