Questin on bringing PPM down in hydro

when I add the amount of nutes that the GH feeding schedule says to add. IT seems to be more ppm then what I have heard to use. Do I just add water to the res. until the PPm is down to what it should be and then I can flood my tray then? THanks

correct. just add ph'ed water

Was the ppm of your water zero to begin with? If not then you subract whatever it was from the reading to get the nute level. Better than adding water is removing x amt with nutes and then replacing it with that amount of plain.

Good call Smile. Critical oversight on my part. My water is 0 ppm so I just add water. sry killa
