Province of Quebec will table it's cannabis legislation this week.

points so far known:

legal age will be 18
distribution will be undertaken by the SAQ through seperate outlets
ZERO tolerance for driving under the influence!

Another province to go down in the history books as having LOST money selling weed. Why am I not surprised? You can buy beer in the 7-11 but you need a unionized government worker to sell a gram of LP bunk?

Bill 157 is EXEMPT from persons with valid Medical Marijuana License
“3. This Act, except Chapter IV, does not apply to cannabis whose production
and possession are authorized for medical purposes under a federal Act.

so a med user can grow while recreational user can not

the except of Chapter IV" has to do with where you can smoke
so for med and recreational users will be limited to where you can smoke in public

So I wonder how this applies to medical users driving and the zero tolerance thingie?
