Quad nodes?

Hey guys so i got a couple ladies going from bagseed Glueball x Opium and im noticing a mutation. So its only happening on 2 branches, but two of the branches had 3 nodes coming out and now have reached 4 nodes coming out from one place. After doing some research ive found out that this happens more than i thought, but they usually come out male. So after reading that and seeing my plant only has it on 2 branches should i go ahead and just chop her down amd start another or is there a good chance it could be female? The second picture is a little blurry but it shows where it was 3 nodes kind of spaced out.20201009_072002.jpg20201009_072051.jpg

Your pictures aren't clear and there is a whole world of mutations caused by stress which you should consider first and foremost.

I mean i know the second one is a little blurry but how is the first one not clear? And she has two others next to her same atrain same conditions soil etc so why wouldnt the others do it as well if it was stress?

Could be any amount of reasons but all these type of mutations in other plants have been linked to stress so it is that I would consider first and not it's sex.

Pathogens present from other stresses, too much fan wind in one area, low light or high, temperature, fungi species in the soil. There's a lot of stresses that won't be obvious or observable by mere mortals.

It's undesirable and a hormonal system breakdown at the end of the day. Maybe it shows in others over time and maybe it goes away. Observe grow and be lucky.

Yea its a bitch lol i just put her in the dark for a couple days and gonna throw her on tje flower tent and sex her since i just harvested another plant and have the room. If shes female ill just go ahead and flower her out with another afghan kush i just put in there. Gonna top these other two and veg em out a while longer then throw them in the flower tent and put more in veg. Since i have a veg tent and flower tent im trying to make it where i harvest 3 or 4 plants once a month

If your not a pro grower or agricultural specialist then a lot of stuff not typical to normal growth is going to happen. Don't overthink it just crank of a hundred more grows and at some point in learning to grow you will magically solve every problem you ever had with simple techniques and environmental controls.

If you are a pro or specialist then you can Google every mutation on Google scholar and their causes, hormone balances and control studies and get your answers there and not from potheads who decided to grow.

My guess is you might see more of this as the grow progresses but look for it to revert back to normal node growth as a sign whatever it was is going away and the problem being solved.

Seen it many times on several of my grows through the decades

Nothing to get excited about due to more arms, I find that these plants that develop this just produce the same amount of bud but smaller but more nugs at the mutation points/arms.

All that I have flowered with this mutation has been fine and always girls as I only grow female seeds.

Good luck
