Whats up everybody. Happy Easter!
Just moved these girls from under the HLG65 to the QBX running at 240w on 18/6 to veg a little faster. Have 4 Macs from Capulator I'm trying to sex along with 2 Mendo Glues a bud gave me from Inhouse I think, an Underdog Urkle from CSI Humboldt and an old Starbud freebie from Hortilab .

Once I determine the females on the Macs, I'll take a few cuts and flower them once they root with the other 4 plants and move the moms back under the HLG65.

All in 1 gallon pots with coco and growstones. Fed Jacks 321 (Will slightly alter that as well to what GG is running) with ful power and will also be adding sea green from Primordial solutions and Mammoth P.
Hoping to find a nice keeper from the MAC's so I can do another sog.

Have you tried 20/4 yet? On a small grow it adds cents to the cost, but adds an extra light cycle every week.
yep, also did 24/0 veg for awhile........by 1 month mark plants looked like 45 days with 18/6, best way?idk, was looking for fast turnarounds with profit

what's your opinion of this "exotic" light schedule (6/18 ) in flower that I saw in here recently?claiming equal/increased(? )yields vs 12/12......hmmmmm

I don't know. I know we are probably using too much light, as we use a constant source that stays on full brightness the whole light cycle.
Best practice would be to monitor photosynthesis and adjusting the light intensity automatically

Are we though?

I'm all for people trying new shit out. Dealing with photoperiodism, only so many moles per day with flowering cannabis obviously. Socal, historically grown some of the largest outdoor ganja crops, highest dli in the continental US throughout the Season..

Then I look at which location has the most state fair weight records, guy just pulled off a ten pound tomato=Only place in the world to do this and it's not from the cold temps, lol

I always wanted to try less and less lights on hours towards the end of flower or gas lantern style I guess it is, but was always too lazy or just forgot plus some wrote that they didn't notice any difference but I may give it a go the last 4 weeks decreasing an hour of light each week.

Happy 420 fellas.
I ran into some space issues and had to move the 4 plants under the 90cri Quantums. Also moved the four MAC moms (hopefully, still didn't show sex yet) along with them and flipped everything into flower today. The first set of MAC cuts I took barely made it and I didn't want to wait any longer so I took more, beefier clones last night after I moved them to the other tent.
Gonna be a jungle in there and will definitely need to do more clean up in a few weeks but will be worth it. Lots of fire in that tent. So now there's 8 1 gallon pots, 9 including the baby clone down there.
I really want to throw a screen down but will wait in case I have to remove one or more of the plants. Hopefully they sex fast (thats what she said...wait, no it's not)

Day 8.
MaC 1 was a dude so he got sacrificed.
So 7 plants in there now and a baby clone. Took 3 cuts of each MAC and the #3 rooted nice in 7 days as seen below.
The tent looks happy and healthy.
Went from 190w to 210w yesterday on day 7 and I'll keep it here till the end maybe going up to 240-50w weeks 5 and 6. I'll see how they're responding.
Gonna try and put a screen down tomorrow since they still have a little play to them, but are getting stiffer by the day.

Since I'm down to one flower tent for the time being I definitely need to maximize yield this time around. It's overcrowded as it is and I hate larf so a lot of lower bud sites will have to go.

Day 31
I had to give them one more cleanup today. Too bushy for my taste. Went a little OD but not risking any overcrowding issues especially with the spikes in rh.

Still at 210w. may give a slight bump in a few days. Maybe 220w then ultimately 250w during weeks 6,7 and 8. I'l see how the plants respond or just lower the lights and keep at same wattage as I dont really see the difference if the canopy is fairly short in height and fairly even.
I will say they look exceptionally healthy.
Been using seagreen every feeding and they are loving it!

Day 35
Lowered the lights way down.
I think I just saw everybody hanging them like high bays and followed suit meanwhile I've always made the canopy kiss the lights with great results. I guess a few burn issues scared me away from that but these girls are looking super healthy so I'm gonna push em and take em real close and just monitor and see how they like it. I think 210w over 5 sqft is sufficient may go up a little more just because but not too much.
It looks like most of this will be a bitch to trim so im hoping the closer intensity will fatten up those lowers. It's my fault for leaving so many shoots.
I'm getting away with every other day feeding but will start to try and feed everyday. I just get scared always having the pots damp especially with the dramatic temp and rh swings.

Day 44
It's clobberin time! Now these are gonna start chunking up. If I didnt leave all those puny shoots and stems there would have been that much more bulk to what counts but woulda coulda shoulda. It wasn't even supposed be a scrog anyway.
But now i know which MAC pheno(s) will make nice single colas. The #2 is bulkier and slightly sweeter than the 3 but the 3 is a frost monster and she cloned strong and fast. 2 wasn' that far behind rooting wise so they'e both staying around for now till I do the official taste test.
