QB footprints?

Can someone give me a brief rundown of veg/flower footprints on the common boards? Please advertisers no comments from you..... just real time growers.

They're all about what the fixtures themselves claim. The easiest and most effective way to see what you'll need to do things right, 15watts/sqft in VEG, 30watts/sqft in FLOWER.

30 W per square foot I would say that’s a minimum at least in my book
I have three purple lights and two cob fixtures get a 4 x 4 grow tent my total is 58 W per square foot

those purple lights are usually way overrated for the actual current/voltage they pull. you likely don't have that much wattage in there but you'd have to go check the drivers yourself in those lights or use a kill-a-watt meter or something. 58watts/sqft of quality QB's(from hlg for instance) is gonna likely bleach your plants pretty fast.

For actual quality leds like the qb's from hlg, 30-35w/sqft is about all you can do at ~18" and not bleach or stress the plants.

the qb288's are good for 2x2 all around imo, technically could veg at 3x3 with a single board but would be better to have 2 boards at a lower wattage than a single board in order to cover that full area in veg or flower. Not sure on the rest of the boards, i'd say probably 1x1 for the 132/120's and 2x2 for the 96 elites but i'm not positive on that. For anyone else that doesn't use HLG's designs, no clue.

Hey man thank you for that information. Yeah I’ve got a watt meter and I’ve checked all my lights. I even have 2 1000 hps that I don’t use.
I haven’t had any problems with my setup. I was thinking about adding some more plants I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do.... stay with cobs, which I’m familiar with or go to QB’s. Thanks again

Yeah what I posted his actual wattage

gotcha, that's some crazy wattage then. I definitely think if you dropped the blurples you could go with something else and do less watts overall and still come out the same or better.
My thread I started this morning is going a little bit off course if that’s OK. I keep looking at plants in my tent and trying to compare my luminous fixtures that I built to the purple lights that I bought. Some strains I see differences and some strains I do not. The three blurple fixtures pull about 460 watts.... I know another diy fixture could do the same area of the tent with half the wattage.
