I plan to run a 5x5 SOG with about 50 clones. 12 12 when roots bounded. Setup is a dwc multiple plants pr container. How many QB waatage needed? And How many clones pr container? And How Big a DIF would CO2 added make for me?

I Think maby about 70liter (17 gal) My thourths is that since i flip to 12 12 from clone, the roots dont grow that Big and then i Will be able to fit 6 netpots in each container. In a total of 8 containers. So 48 plants per grow. So i am looking for container sized About L32" W18" H30" then ill be able to fit Them all in the 5x5 with a little space between them. I know that Some growers place at like 81 clones in a 12 12 SoG in soil so i dont know if i am wasting to much space with This setup. My goal is to yield about 20 g pr plant so i can hit the 1gpw wich must be possible with the qb cree 3500k. I did had the idea the 3x320w qb would be optimal. Im glad you agree BTW do you Think a 3000k qb would be better to a 12 12 SoG? I mean the 3500 is a little more blue en less red, But still the clones goin thru some kind of veg anyways so i cant figure..

8 containers that size won't fit in a 5x5.

2 rows of 4 containers at those dimensions would measure 64"x72" or 5.3'x6'.

Going with Home Depot's HDX 17Gal totes which are 26.88" L x 18" W x 12.5" H you would be able to fit 2 rows of 3 totes for a total of 6 totes in a 5x5 fitting 36 plants if you do 6 net pots per tote.

Totes - HDX 17GAL

Would look something like this.

I would go with 3000K. The additional red will help provide a bit more stretch which will be good if you're going straight into 12/12 and will raise overall yield.

What lights specifically are you planning on purchasing?

Yeah you might be right about the sizes i Think. I thourth 3 of these 320w qb. The cost about 160 dollars each ex shipping and taxes. A total all incl 800 dollars for all 3 shipped to my front door in denmark. Thats quite cheap i think... dont you?

How ever i might setup Some Co2 also. But What is possible to yield with 36 plants in the setup u Think ?

If you go with Alibaba lights I would go with a reputable seller such as Kingbrite or Meijiu.

Yield is more dependent on light than number of plants, more plants just decreases veg time. Good of thumb is to shoot for 1 GPW, so that would be 960g. If you supplement CO2 and have things dialed you could get upwards of 1.5 GPW.
