Q-Tip Method: Pollination

I was informed of a way to seed a female with a very limited amount of pollen. I'm talking about like a 1/4th of a dime's worth of pollen dust. It involved taking a Q-tip and wiping the pollen and then just swiping which buds you want to pollinate.... anyone every tried it?

no, but i use a small sable brush that way.

sable brush...? Never heard of it. not the method just never heard of a sable brush lol I'll google it. I just tryed the Q-tip method...hope it works. Supposedly if the pollen "takes" the pistils will shrivel up so we'll see.

i have used both dont brush and Q-tip just dont touch on or swipe as said to stimen pistils or whatever they are called

can swipe to pick up pollen on applicator but just hold aliitle above and tap to apply

do with fans off leave off for 2 or three days mist all plantts good befor fans back on

3 to 6 weeks -got seeds

I left my fan on but the plant i pollinated is in the back ...and hardly any airflow touches that branch. With the tiny amount of pollen i used i DOUBT anything else should pop out seeds...and if they do their too far along anyway for them to mature.

And I did swipe them with the pollen...didnt really tap it off...hope it works. If it doesnt its cool sensi is great too lol. It was a a spur of the moment thing anyway just to see if it would work.

I've always touched the brush to the flowers, but tapping sounds sensible. I'll do that my next go, which will be very soon. BTW, I have been collecting pollen from a Kushberry/Skunk. I had about 1/4 tsp. in a film cannister- we had days of rain and the pollen caked and mildewed. Luckily I had taken a small amount in a glass bottle and it survived.. In the past I've always used glass but I read that the film cans were good. Not really THAT good, it turns out.

i dry my pollen make a pouch out of brown paper bag
sandwidch that between thos dry pack thingys
keep that in a ziplock
then in a cure jar
into the freezer

first step very important

buds , pollen, hash none of them like moisture
