Pyrex vac chamber

So... can I blast and purge all in one dish with this? Will I want to introduce parchment paper at some point? (or the slick mats it came with)

I only ever see pics w/ metal chambers w/ parchment... I am far too fascinated by the science goin on in there to pass up on a clear dish, lol

from what i have seen, i am gonna want to use my hot water bath for stage 1 purge, but scrape out onto parchment prior to vac.... anyone wanna confirm on this?

Ummm, if I understand you correctly:
Yes you shoot into one vessel sitting in hot tap water, and when the visible butane is gone, scrape onto parchment/PTFE/silicone rubber/other for finishing, because it is typically too thick a film to process in the initial collection/evaporation vessel.
