...they're growing guud *_- today I had them soaking spring sun in the window for few hours, otherwise they get 12h of HPS and 7h of fluoros and cfl.

If U guys look closely on the Vanilla Kushes (the 2 in the back), you can see that lower bigger fan leaves are really curling under. Here's what I think: The Kush is a bit sensitive to both nutes and heavy watering. Had leaves looked like this mid flower, I would say P def, but now I'm saying its a mix of the fact they are sensitive to the "hot" soil and that they dont require as much water?

The Amnesias have been given 1 watering w nutes at half strenght, they liked it, and I gave 1 of the Kushes same watering to rule things out....new leaves started "rosetting", too much nutes. Given this I think its what I've stated above thats happening...what U guys think?

I think you're right on the money. I haven't grown vanilla kush but I have grown a few others and they all reacted similar. That Mazar was a disappointment, my bad really. Started flowering to soon and didn't re-veg, I tried to finish her off indoors and she just seemed to stall out, mites mildew whatever. I'll try it again.

Very common on kushes indeed, sensitive to almost everything, yet if you get them right it's happy days. Easy nutes, lots of fresh air needed.

As far as the Vanilla Kush goes...naaah...will not grow it again, fluffy buds and not really a great punch to the high. Seem to need to give them steroids if they gonna mount to anything?!

Amnesia Lemon on the other hand...great producer, biiig compact buds and they smell AWESOME! The Amnesias are at day 59, have been given them Ripen for 4 days, will harvest them in few days after a proper flush, round day 65-68. Here are some close ups, enjoy!

edit: pictures taken with newly bought USB microscope, not expensive, bout 65$ and zooms up to 200x. There are ofc more expensive ones with better resolution, but this 1 gets the job done *_-

Its time for an upgrade!

600W digital ballat + 600W Philips Son-T PIA Plus (HPS 92,000 lumen compared to the 55,000 lumen my 400W HPS bulbs put out)
This gives me an x-tra 400W ballast, so I bought a 400W Philips HPI-T Plus (MH) wich will be used for veg instead of fluoros and CFL's

Intake fan, mearly a bathroom fan. It might not be enough so maybe I'll get anjother 1. Some of U might say: Why not get 1 fan twice as powerful? Answer: They make a lot moar noice! =)

Dehumidifier. A real bargain. This old couple were moving, and the man says he only used it once when painting. Price new: 200-250$ Used: 30$

ALso got 2 new strains: Bubble Diesel, regular seeds (Bubble Jock x Diesel) and Cannadential, feminized (L.A Confidential x Cannalope)

Got some moar Amnesia Lemon in 12/12 but in bout 8 weeks theese new strains will be flipped. Time to go plug in the 600W

Ofc I would prefer 1 fan over 2, its just thta with <all the stuff running at the same time, it makes quirt some noice...

You can get really good silent fans, or you buy a normal fan and build a silencer box for it and hang the box on bungees or something similar. Especially for the summer with a 600, you will not regret it.

i wrap a duvet round my fan (but rui members have told me not to) that keeps the sound down a bit 2 but i've also heard of the idea D mentioned its supposed 2 work

Yeah my mate boxes up his fan and fills the box with expanding foam from a can, works a treat jus be careful wen u fill the inside of the box make sure theres no gaps for it to escape

Ty! Ima do another run with VK though, got another 3 seeds I'll put in soil today...I actually think I put the VK's in super market soil as I was lazy that day and didnt wanna travel for the super soil...not sure though?!

Not only a nice toy, but a very functional tool. I used to go mad trying to keep the "hand microscope" steady too inspect crystals =)


The 600W is amazing! I think u all gone through the same amazement as I am, if u started w smaller bulbs. Its a lot of moar light! What I could fit in under 2 x 400W I can now fit under 1 x 600W =)

9 plants under this 600W all Amnesia Lemon. The 3 in front are I think at day 35-37 and the 4 non-topped in the back are somwhere in week 3. Judging by the "browning" of pistills, I'd say the clones will finnish bout a week faster than from seed.

On the other side of the tent under the 400W is another 5 Amnesia Lemons I just put into 12/12 today. 4 pretty small topped ones in 8litre pots and 1 BIG in a 45 litre pot!

Today I'm planting 6 Bubble Diesel (reg.), 3 Cannadential (fem.), 3 Vanilla Kush (fem.) and 3 Amnesia Lemon (fem.)

Reason why I'm not continuing on w theese phenos of Amnesia Lemon U see in the pic is that 1 of them was superkiller but wasnt there tastewize, the other 1 was fruity and just heavenly tasting but not killer =)

Btw, the water "generated" from the dehumidifier, isnt that like distilled?

you can use the water from the dehumidifier, I have when I have run mine to no ill effects.
