Purple strain that actually turns purple?

Here are 2 phenos of JOTI Purple Kush that I have:

Thanks for all the info guys. And those pics just make me wanna do them even more!! I've been looking at sannies recently but most he's strains are 10-16 week flower for the fire strains. Does he have any that turn purple with a 8-9 week flower do use guys know?

Yeah Jackberry will. Although I haven't run it, a large % are purple.

Not criticized lol just this method is nute deprivation and isnt good for the plants. Some plants wont turn purple no matter how cold you get your room. Genetically purple is definitely the way to go if you want purple plants. You can also pour ice water on your roots for about a week and theyll lock out and turn purple also, but again this will make your bud worse than it couldve been.

Out of a 5 pack, i had 3 different purple female phenos, and then 2 males. Of the males, i picked the stockyest and made beans. I have 300+ plush beans, and every one that I have popped has been purple. I have 9 in flower right now, temps r in the low 80s, ALL are pink/magenta/purple...

But hey, maybe I just got lucky!

Yeah I've heard his Jackberry isn't super strong smoke. I think he uses for daytime. Killingfields is variable in potency. Some are quite strong, some not so much. Like I said, requires some hunting - at least in the F3's.

I have an extreme fondness for growing colorful strains of cannabis, so I can offer some opinions here... My purple Killing Fields were the fastest, but not the best high of the phenotypes. They finished around 9 weeks, while the stronger green and blue phenos went more like 10-11. Bodhi's RKU has multiple purple and pink phenos that are extremely potent, but I don't see it in stock anywhere. If indicas are your thing, I'd go for an urkel or LVPK cross (or SR71 PK, definitely the strongest of the purple indica clone only strains IMO) Sin City's PowerPurps looks awesome, and both the parents are powerhouses for potency, but it will probably be on the low side for yields because of the OG and LVPK genetics. I saw someone else recently put out an LVPK cross, maybe Pisces? The best purple indica I've gotten in seed form is form is Peyote Purple, but again, mostly low yielding phenotypes with extreme frost and potency, and around 50% showed a moderate to complete amount of purple.

You can do research on this but every marijuana plant will and can turn purple. For a short insight> Chlorophyll keeps the plant green and produces energy, but underneath that chlorophyll is the stuff called zanaphyll. In the late stages of developments and due to cold temperatures the chlorophyll dies off leaving the zanaphyll. When zanaphyll captures sunlight it turns purple. Since the chlorophyll is the one producing the green color but is no longer available the plants color shifts from green to purple. The reason why purple strains arent as potent> Chlorophyll is the guy who produces the energy for the plant, which produces that nice substance called THC. The more energy, the more THC. Zanaphyll doesnt produce energy so therefore less THC is produced.

Nice smoke mega yielding plant. Long flowering though. 10-12 weeks. In the F3's some hunting was required to find a good plant, but not that much.

I've got a pack of the Killing Fields F4 in the seed tin. How would you compare it to Sugar Punch? Been thinking about running those for a while now......

5 outdoor Female Plushberries a couple of seasons ago...very "berry" taste and smell. They were exposed to cool night temps. Got darker than usual, but not full blown "purps." Yield was better than most TGA, potency just average.

That is what I got from my run of plushberry,the one I found went purp in high heat...very good taste,very good...but lack luster in the high department

So I hit her with a male (purple kush x gsog) she gave me some very nice offspring.
