Purple Pods?

Got some mystery seeds off a friend. And Im wondering what strain it is or any information on why the male pollen pods are purple. I have seen normal green pods but never purple ones. Just wanna make sure I did or didn't luck out on purple haze or something. Thank you.

Smoke those budz? You can try smoking pollen and see if you get anything out of it...... Was just wondering because Im curious if my females will fallow suit after the males.

Well one of my questions is answered. See pics. Females followed suit. Anyone got any ideas on the strain? Hope the smoke will be wicked ...
