I'm a little late starting this thread, but a bunch of people have been asking me to put up pics and keep them updated on my first grow, so here ya go!
Setup:
600w budget grow II hps with cool tube and wing reflector (the bulb that came with it. Not sure on specs)
2 13w cfl's for side lighting (6400k producing 1350 lumens)
6'x2.25' closet
Feeding:
Jacks veg and Jacks flower phed to 6.5. Started feeding 4 weeks into veg at the indoor strength and at 2 weeks flower I bumped it up to the outdoor serving. Use nutes 2/3 feedings.
Extra:
Cracked POGK seeds Jan 2 (3 male, 2 herm, 1 fem)
Aquired clones Jan 26 (g13xww & chemdawg)
Feb 10 20/4 Feb 12 18/6 Feb 14 16/8 Feb 16 12/12
When 12/12 started the POGK was 3.5 ft tall and the clones were 1'6
Only time they have been cut on was for clones.
I did tie down the main cola on the POGK and put risers under my other two to have an even canopy.

It's a fan. Loud piece of sheet lol. I crack the closet door during the daytime and put it in the crack. Don't really need to because my exhaust is so powerful, but the more airflow the better I guess

Was making sure as an oscillating heater can play hell with canopy temp and hygrometer readings depending on proximity. Agreed, solid airflow is key as well.

Looks pretty good, if I say so myself. I'm running 2400 watt flower and a 600 watt veg. Just uprgraded in the last month and a half. I'm trying to get my yields looking like yours on this scale. Again, pretty good for 600 watts.

Thanks! Much appreciated. I wish I had that much space! Going to keep it small until I really get the hang of it though

Confident that this is normal, but just wanted to make sure. Threw the clone pic in there as well... I forgot to water them for a few days :/ Looking very droopy, but I'm hoping they bounce right back!

Lookin' ok to me at this time, always check your plants multiple times a day though - as a general rule, not specific to any 1 potential issue.
Yea I usually check them too many times a day lol. Think I could add a little of the veg nutes to the bloom nutes since it has a higher n content or just let the yellowing happen?

You could always add just a lil' bit to make sure that NPK are covered (and check your pH daily if you haven't been).. near the end of flower, and I do mean end.. you will see them go from green to yellow faster than normal as well (generally speaking)

I ph my water, but haven't checked my soil in almost 2 months. I just did a 6.5 flush a couple of days ago though. Which ph meter do you have? I've had 3 of those green ones and every one stopped working within 48 hours or didn't work when I got it home. My garden center must have received a faulty batch

I like how you blacked out your finger prints... you never know

Yea, I'm a bit paranoid... If they had a program to collect fingerprints rapidly on a website they would hit the honey hole especially since a lot of growers have their prints on record. I guess they could strip the image of the coverups, but going to that extent over 3 plants would mean I'm too paranoid to be smoking any more pot lol

Switch to indica to help with the paranoia :P

That's what I usually smoke or hybrids. Prefer that sativa though, keeps me from getting lazy. The paranoia just comes with getting caught with bud once and so many people I know getting busted. Another great reason for leaving VA! "Where everybody knows your naaaame" (to whatever show that tune was off lol)

hahahaha, that's from Cheers... 80s sitcom. If you want to leave, c'mon up to MI - we welcome you.

MI is too damn cold for me! I actually just moved over 1,000 miles away. Don't know many people, but at least I can have my privacy, and can now afford to go back and visit whenever I want!

I run Bluelabs gear for checking.. minimum on each is a 2 year warranty, some have a 5 year... Were you storing it as the instructions told you to? Have to ask, as sometimes they're not exactly 100% clear with what has to be done before it'll act up/die fresh out of the pack/box.
