Purple OG #18 reserva privada, only one question.

So I'm back again to try everything a little bit better, I have a sealed closet , mylar, cooler , everything , I'm getting a duct fan soon for the 400W hps, soil is ffof , 1/3 perlite,
for right now I am using fox farm grow big, till I have some more money.
so the whole idea is I'm using the best strain I can find as far as yield and quality , and Purple OG#18 reserva privada, sounds like the best so here is some pics of the grow room
not completely done yet still have to install cfm fan, but i found this old cooler in my garage fits just right in their, and this thing gets cold so I'm testing how cool it gets right now , also its a four plant grow the purple og seeds I'm getting are feminized so that will make that a little bit easier on me, the only real question I have is when would be the best time to top these to get the the biggest or most colas?

so the cooler didnt work got really hot in their haha , but I ordered a 190 cfm fan last night and I am going to be ordering the seeds today , I also have a 400w mh , got one from my freinds work really cheap cause shes the boss their haha, the ballast i have is switchable another plus so I'll be updating again here soon with pics of germination and day 1 ,

LoL yeah you gotta vent that hot air out somewhere. you can top anytime after 4th or 5th node but everyone does things different.

yea i planned on that from the beginning, but I got the venting in their today and the in line fan is on the way. only real thing left is timers more nutes and and fixing up the wiring. and the seeds will be ready to go , o yea and gotta make sure temps are right their right, right now with two fans, with a exhaust port , ill post pics in a min

then I'll probally test it out I have a baby kaboom-og in their right now and ill see how temps affect her and so on but ill top her at the fifth node and see what happens from their

So I ordered the seeds not to long ago , should be here sometime this week , temps are 82 -84 without in- line fan so with fan should be just right ,

tommorow im going to hit them with 3.5ml of fox farm and 8ml of bioweed tommorow and see how they do I saw bioweed does wonders aha

the purple og seeds should be here tomorrow , or the day after , looks like everything is going right the duct fan keeps it really cool

so, I've been doing some research aha still doing some but I see coco coir and smartpots are a very good thing to invest in , so Ill be picking some up soon , the seeds will be here today or tomorrow lol mail has been slow

so, before I took a trip to the hydro store yesterday i checked my mail and they were their all healthy looking seeds , I am germinating all seeds, I however though are doing these seeds different I'm using botanacare coco coir and filled the 2 gallons geo pots, all the seeds look healthy they should germ , stay posted for pics of the seeds , ka-boom og, feminized random, and day 1 of purple og 18 , and so on

holy macrol lol , I went in today to the grow room^^ but lmao i had a ant problem , had to tak all the plants out and spray and let it air out,now what im wondering, lol did a ant get a seed somehow maybe lmao i know they didnt i live in the high des we have a drought they were going after the moisture in the smart pots but after everything is back in their all gone i have a fan on my window pushing in fresh air and a box fan in the grow room the door open and the duct fan on , hoping poison dosent affect them but its not like their budding before they bud im going to line the room with ortho 6 month home defense so i am not having to spray for like every week ya know the drought up here makes the ants go nuts for water lol

,okay so i finally got the time to sit down and put the pics on i count the plants from when they come up , but two of the seeds germ'd a day after the first four and then planted the two the day they germ'd and now 3 days later all are up of the four, that first germ'd, a inch tall going for the light , and the kaboom -OG is about 3 inches right along with the with the fem unknown , just raised the light a little

one more question how far should a mh 400w be from the plants because the heat ray is only about a foot its about 30 inches away

yes i will be keeping it updated going to be updating here day 10 with transplant and day 12 the first feeding , especially im going to be feeding 1/8 strength nutes from day 10 instead of 1/2 or full at week 3 , because the coco coir has no nutes but the roots love it , but i wouldn't recommend coco coir unless you want to be feeding a whole lot , but i keep only the nutes in their i want nothing extra another plus

germ ratio was pretty good to btw i got 5 out of the seeds that have a good pheno type , but theirs this baby thats like shriveled up probably a bad seed been trying to save it if anything it will be a runt ^^

stay tuned for pictures of the kaboom og and the unknow feminized day 27 , and the babies that are day 11/9 , they had a slow start but their starting to take off , when i transplanted the og and fem in fox farm at day 9 the roots were not showing, but when i transplanted these out of the cups in coco coir the roots were in a spiral at the bottom when i pulled them out they had a like 8 inch taproot out of the bottom that was growing through the cup pretty much and lots of roots so i suggest using it for a massive root starter transplanted them into the 2 gallons with fox farm, and they seem to be taking off quicker than the kaboom and og so im happy to see were this goes but the root system was massive lol , now that root system has something better to grab onto and will now take of like a rocket

okay so theyve grown quite a bit , got the kaboom and unknow female into their 5 gallons and they should just take off i really like the coco coir for the massive root system that it made so quick but from that to fox farm its not to far behind were the kaboom and the female when they were that age but they sure are taking off i think they will catch up but the kaboom and feminized are going to be big their going to get a extra 16 days of veg before they all flower im also going to be upgrading the light next week or the week after around to a 600w hps/mh switchable ballast with XL 6" Cool Tube Reflector W/ XL Wing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Reflector-hood-air-cool-wing-XL-wing-250W-400W-600W-1000W-Grow-Hydro-Indoor-/300705455593?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item4603711de9its huge so it should be lots of light and im going to install the ducting then from the fan to the light , sorry i havent put any pics up yet been awhile but i will for sure in the morning and like i said their doing fantastic
