Purple kush seeds

Hello everyone I have a question the wifey bought me last year from the Ontario seed bank in Canada so call purple kush seeds and I know everybody is going to say it's clone only yea your right, but the man from the seed bank said he brought back a clone from Cali and crossed it with og kush so far they have produce good dank bud. Has anybody bought these same seeds and grow them I want to here the out come of this thanks
