Looking great man! I just went through the whole thread and your plants are thriving very well.

I am using the Age Old line as well, after using the bloom for my last grow. It turned out really great, although I started yellowing really early in flowering because I was using crap chemical grow ferts (Peters) and only very sparingly. This time I picked up the Age Old Grow and Kelp, but can't really figure out how to incorporate the Kelp. I get the grow and bloom, and my hydro store guy says use Kelp as foliar feed, but what do you do? I was thinking of maybe alternating feedings with the Grow and Kelp to provide a "balanced diet" or what?
That's a good question because I haven't incorporated the Kelp yet at all but it has low npk numbers and I was going to use with the grow every other feeding .But like I said had,t used it yet .Last grow I used their dry ferts and would top dress the kelp meal .

They have a feeding schedule on their site and it shows the Kelp used in equal amounts with grow or bloom . So you can mix it together ,for me I started with half strength and the tips burned but they was young . I cut back to 1/4 and now am back up to half and will bump it up one more time b4 flower this is going to be my last week of veg . and Honestly have never been back to the store to buy the kelp or their other products been broke as a joke ! I want the kelp and the humic acid they have . I like Age old because its so cheap but a product that has been tested in gardening you know it,s not marketed as a "miricle canna nute" the small bottles of grow and bloom here are 7.99.

Thanks . So far so good except for a couple hiccups . The LST has been fun , lots of tying and retying though but I can account for over 25 shoots heading up to be colas last count ,it's gonna be interesting .
Damn, should be a good yield! Can't wait to see how the smoke turns out!

Update
4 weeks into Veg

Preparing for flowing today . Visited the nursery this morning and got some more 3 gallon pots , soil ,flowering nutrient, and kelp meal . The soil they had availible forced me to change brands , I have knocked on Fox Farms soil before but had to go with Happy Frog . I always hear good things about HF so I,m confident in my choice , it has better ingrediants than RooTS and I never read about Gnats in HF . It even has the Leoardnite that I thought was only in Roots .

Wasn't too happy with the selection of pots , had to go with some flimsy ones but oh well . With my veg pots I drilled 1/4 in holes around the lower section on these I,ll be drilling more rows of them and many in the bottom for I,m still having a 5 day dry time .

I stuck with Age Old Organics for flowering nutrient and their kelp meal as well . My lights are off now so I,ll spend the dark period preparing . I need to drill out all my pots and mix up some soil . Soil mix for flower is ofcourse the HF soil 4 to 1 with #4 perlite 1 tbsp kelp meal per gal
, and dolomite lime 1tbsp per gal.

Probably let them recover for a couple days b4 I switch to 12/12 . So my lights come on at 6pm mountain . Then I,ll transplant and take new pics . Here's a few pics of how they look now . If anybody can tell me how to post full sized pics I,d appreciate it +rep .

That is a nice ingredient list on the HF. I've looked into the Ocean Forest, but heard people say it's really hot nutrient wise. Looking forward to the results of your grow. Your plants are looking awesome!

So you went with the solid kelp? I used my liquid as a foliar, but might have burned them because I watered with grow at the same time. I thought I'd be all good because those numbers are sow low but I dunno. I read on the site that it is good for stressed out plants and building soil tilth.

Yeah it's less work to just mix dry kelp in your soil rather than worry bout mixing it in your water and I don't foliar feed . And Thanks for the input !:)

ALrighty going to go ahead and switch to 12/12 tonight . I'd like for the smaller ones to catch up but I don't thin they will so flower time it is! I've been noticing the purple flo's have purple like candy cane stripes on the stalks looks cool guess it's a strain chracteristic .Any one ever see this ?

I've never grown purple flo, but have seen it on other plants. Some people think it's a nute deficiency but I think certain strains do it naturally.

Just my opinion, but I'd give them a few days to recover and settle in to the new pots before switching the light.

Yeah I'm still debating on when to flip them actually . I don't transplant roughly like some ppl loosen up the whole rootball and score the roots. I just pop it out of one pot into the larger one and backfill with fresh soil . Guess a few days wouldn't hurt at all . I know they need to settle in just impatient I guess .

Oh and I guess I should provide closure on my kitty litter dwc bucket deal . It works great I just got too much going on already to maintain that also. So Sophie is the plant that was in the bucket , she got mistreated ! But now she is being pampered ! Got to catch her up and I know, can't tell if it's a her yet, but will go with Sophie , she is going to teach me some things hopefully . So far she is liking the foliar feeding she's perking up and looks greener .
