Well so far I only got 76 degrees in the water and the humidity is only 38% .Its 22 % outside and 69 degrees. Guess I,m gonna switch to the bucket and aquirium heater .

Got another side project going , I,m wanting to revisit dwc . This time making it out of a kitty litter bucket with a hinged lid . Instead of having to buy a net pot and calcined clay I,m using a regular small pot and going to use perlite as a medium it,s going to be like a recirculating hempy bucket .I have full round of ionic nutrients to use for this no ph meter just gonna wing it and see what happens . I,m going to use one of the blueberry seedlings to experiment with .

Our humidity has been bouncing between 30-40% the past few days, that's fine. You really don't want to invite mildew/mold.

But whats the low end threshold ? I,m dealing with 8-20 % humidity . I know 50-60 is "ideal" but isnt there a bottom line ? I,m not noticing anything wrong with the plants from it that I can tell .

Still no roots in the bottle cloner but it,s not drooping at all . Gonna let the humidity rip where it's at 20% nothing i can do about it that doesnt raise my temps or coat my babies in white dust . I'll do some more work on the kitty litter bucket today and post pics . It's gonna be cool to track growth between the two soil/recirculating hempy .

Later in the week I'm going to check the roots on the clones and see about upcanning . Probaly go to a 1 gallon container for the rest of veg , then up to a 3 gallon for flowering .

I have two of these cat buckets with the hinged lid. Only issue I found when using them is not paying attention and opening it too far. Yay for having to gather back up hydroton because it all spilled out. lol I also use the regular lids. Have two in my tent now with two 3" net pots per top. Since I have cats, I have a pretty decent supply of the buckets. lol
