Purging durations

Hi all

I recently met with different extract manufactures and i heard some outrageous purging times for shatter, like 5 days MINIMUM. I met some ppl and tried their 10 day vacuum purged shatter, i thought that was over the top... I understand they might make big runs but seriously? 5 days until ppm is acceptable? I mean how much gas is in there after it stops bubbling out? I presume that the size of batches will influence purging time too? or do 50 grams thinly spread requires the same amount of time as 5 g as thinly spread for it to stop gassing out?
I usually leave my concentrates in another 12 hours after i stop seeing bubbles, never left anything longer than 3 days i think and i hardly ever get more than an eighth of oil yielded.

Ye man and people fucking refusing wax dabs!!!!! Oh sorry bro im too big a pussy to smoke wax and my enail is waaaay too special and i dont like wax on it, just shatter. Only after explaning my purging process would some try it. But still you know youre a at a party you wanna dab all enails are being used and i cant use yours?! You serious?!
Thats kind of what i though anything more than 3 days or so id actually think its hindering the terpene conservation and its aaaaaaaaaaaall about the terps...
Shit the 10 days shatter i tried was tasty dont get me wrong but not as intense a taste as others. The guy who told me leaves his shatter for 5 days says he couldnt shift his oil because ppm after a 3 days purge would still be above the 800(could be 2000 memory fails me) hes allowed.
In terms of smoothness and cleanliness my to 3 day purge stuff was just as smooth though obviously not as tasty cause i dont run nugs.

Oh...yeah, well, my GF is one of those She can dab anyone I know under the table practically...lol

I prefer to retain the ability to catch a buzz off flowers, so I try to limit my dabbing...though I just made a batch and I must say...yummy yum yum...
